SEE CHANGES DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER

 

Prepare yourself for a day of dreams and action: The Holy Spirit's presence and guiding role was ever so prevalent as the events of each chapter of Acts unfolded...likewise His presence will be needed and called upon as we spend the day learning of, teaching about, and calling on the Holy Spirit to usher in our "next chapter."

Children's classes available for 12 months through 5th grade in the Foundry Street Building.

College Student Program - See below.

High School & Middle School Schedule - See below.

12:00 PM     Visit The Wall.

12:30 AM     Children's Classes Open (12 months thru 5th grade)

1:00 PM     I Will Pour Out My Spirit (Tom Brown) - Grand Hall

  • Meet in the round for Spirit-filled devotional singing.
  • Hear teaching about Holy Spirit and call on His presence for the weekend and our lives.

2:00 PM    They Were Filled With the Holy Spirit (Chip & Ruby Mitchell)

  • Men Filled with the Holy Spirit – Theater
  • Women Filled with the Holy Spirit – Grand Hall

3:15 PM     Living a Spirit-Filled Life (Various SE Facilitators)

  • Break into Life Streams and discuss practicals for living by the Spirit.
    • Retired
    • Empty Nester
    • Married w/kids 14-18*
    • Married w/kids 10-13*
    • Married w/kids 6-9*
    • Married w/kids <5*
    • Married no kids
    • Single Parents
    • Single Men
    • Single Women
  • Classes led by trained facilitators to enhance interaction and usefulness.
* NOTE:  Attention given to situations where both parents are working.

4:30 PM     The Breaking of Bread (Dinner)

  • Promptly pick up children.
  • Eat together by church - get room assignments when purhcasing lunch.
  • Share with each other the day's thoughts and decisions.
  • Open mic time to share your dreams and convictions with your church family.

6:30 PM     Freetime visit The Wall

6:30 PM    OPTIONAL

Special report about how missions resources are being used and the ever-present needs

2:00 PM    Travel to Athens Church of Christ building for lunch and classes

3:00  PM     Campus Fair for high school juniors and seniors
